Oh Matilda! Following in our namesake's footprint, we're simplifying(even our name), going green, lo Established in 1978, Oh Matilda!
is an eclectic salon owned by the husband & wife design team of John and Mari Samluk. is named after John's mother, who was essential in guiding John to the path of hairdressing, making John the twelfth hairdresser in a family of hairdressers !! Without the backing ( in more ways than one) of John's father, Jesse , the salon would never have come to fruition. With advanced education from a wide variety of industry greats too numerous to mention (including the Vidal Sassoon Academy, Santa Monica, CA), the salon is home to John & Mari, internationally trained stylists and colorists with over 82 years of combined experience. We are devoted to hair coloring, our expertise with natural curly hair, and the latest industry trends . We utilize nothing less than the industry's top professional products to reinforce our skills. Our main goal is to provide you, our guests, with the highest quality service in a warm, friendly, peaceful and artistic environment. Celebrating our 44th year in the salon business, our unparalleled service and appreciation for our guests comes from the time honored belief that, " The Customer is Always Right "!
