Prepare for your next appointment using these simple steps:

Step 1: Shampoo and cleanse your hair scalp throughly the night before your scheduled appointment.

Step 2: Use a leave-in conditioner and/or hair mask. This will prevent your hair from being dry before your appointment.

Step 3: Section your hair into 4-6 parts, gently and slowly blow dry your hair taking time to work from the ends to the root. Make sure to use heat protection at this step if it isn’t in your leave in conditioner.

Step 4: Section your hair into 2 parts and TWIST each section (no braids) Arrive to your appointment with your hair in those twists; no tangled puffs, no braids that needs to be taken down because it takes away time from the appointment.

Tip: Do not use heavy products such as grease, or any hair butters at this step because it weighs down your hair and causes product build up once your braids are installed.

If you absolutely MUST use any oils it should be any light, non-comedogenic oils such as jojoba or argan oil.
