May we cultivate true, unconditional love with ourselves so we can learn to give that to others. All change starts from within.

Eye am infinitely grateful for the hardships and losses experienced the last few years in order to gain true understanding and awareness of humanity, relationship, and impermanence.

This is where it begins. Be present. Be compassionate. Be open. There is nothing you cannot do, so lock in on you!

This is Day One. The first time eye tried the medicine — eye knew it was much more than the taste that triggered my tummy. Eye had thrown up the night before as my body and spirit prepared for what was about to take place.

A shedding. A surrender. A discernment.

So many addictions, decisions, and habits that no longer served, but wanted to stay. A way of life that no longer aligned with me, but for so long had helped me survive.

Thank you to the parts of me that helped me cope through tumultuous trials of trauma. From losing patriarchs of the family, to being kicked out & isolated by kin, navigating heartbreak, and watching a mother struggle with disability, incarceration, and houselessness.

Welcoming this cleanse in on my 28th cycle around the sun has shown me the power of discipline and tending to self with unconditional love and compassion.

The album that is soon to be released is for you just as much as it is for eye. Eye never knew why JUICE came to my dreams as the name of my debut album— but eye didn’t question it for a second. Now.. eye understand.

Thank you to Shami Bey Eat L1ght for providing the medicine and bring such a wonderful friend and partner on this journey. To be let in, loved, and valued just as is. To just be friends. Nothing to change. Nothing to fix. Existence. Humanness.

Isn’t that what we all desire deep down? We know there is more to connect within ourselves, with others, and with All That Is.

Holding back is easy. Pretending not to care. Moving through the day. How resilient we are. The ways we’ve learned to protect ourselves are innumerable.

May you have and continue to meet people in your life who love you just as you are in this moment. With nothing to change. Nothing to fix. May you find people to explore yourself with.. to get goofy, silly, sad, joyous, and supported. May we feel all the feels. What else are we here for if it isn’t to FEEL ALL THE FEELS ❣️
