For those of you new to my feed - My name is Omairis, I am your mobile and salon nail professional.

Before I feel in love with nail art, I worked in corporate america. Like many women who go into a nail salon after a long stressful day, the experience didn't feel relaxing or as if I was getting pampered. It was always a rushed treatment and my nails would chip or break after 3 days. This was not the treatment that myself or other women deserved.

So one day I quit the nail salon and I decided to go to nail school and learn how to do my own nails. I was finishing school for nails when I fell in love with facials, so I became licensed for both. What I didn't know at the time was my true calling was spoiling people through nail & skin treatments. I quit Corporate America to follow my calling.

So here I am today, living through my passion everyday by pampering men and women through Manicures, Pedicures

Today, I had the honor of teaching 11th-grade students how they can use dual enrollment during their senior year to earn the credits needed to become licensed nail artists. 💅🏻🎓

They can graduate with a TRADE, build their own businesses, and even help pay their way through college doing what I do!

I was once told:

“This is not a career. You need to work for corporate America.”

But I chose to believe in my gift. It took years of hard work, countless sacrifices, and the constant support of my husband and children—but look at what this “not a career” has allowed me to accomplish. 🙌🏻

Today, I wasn’t just teaching nails. I was showing these students that a trade can create freedom, independence, and a future they build with their own hands.

Never allow anyone to make you feel small for choosing a different path. College is an amazing option—but so is learning a TRADE! 💯‼️
