A little life update. 🤍

I shared a longer update on Jazzy's GoFundMe page, but I also wanted to keep everyone here updated because so many of you have been praying, checking in, and loving our family through this season.

First, all the glory belongs to God. We are seeing beautiful progress in Jazzy. Recovery is still a journey, but every day we celebrate the little victories because they are becoming big victories. She continues to amaze us with her strength, and we continue to trust God's timing.

As for me, I'm slowly returning to work. My schedule looks a little different these days, and I'm working some very unusual hours that fit around Jazzy's appointments and our family's needs. Thank you for your patience, understanding, and for continuing to support my small business through all of this. It means more than you'll ever know.🙏

Recently I renewed my esthetics licenses in both Florida and North Carolina, paid my annual business fees, restocked supplies, and I'm grateful that easing back into work will help cover those expenses, along with my studio rent, insurance, and booking system while I continue caring for Jazzy.

I was also able to play in a soccer tournament this past weekend. It felt good to do something for myself, and by God's grace, my team brought home the trophy. 🏆 I couldn't have done it without my incredibly supportive husband, my friends, and my kids, who reminded me that taking care of myself helps me take better care of the people I love.

This journey has changed me forever. I don't take a single day for granted anymore.

Thank you for every prayer, every message, every appointment you've been flexible with, every client who has waited for me, every donation, and every act of kindness. You have carried our family through the hardest season of our lives.

Please continue praying for our sweet Jazzy as we wait to see another specialist and continue her recovery. We believe God is writing a beautiful testimony, one step at a time.

We love you!

God is so, so good. 🤍

A little update on our sweet Jazzy. 🤍

I still don't know what the future holds, and if I'm honest, I still have moments where fear completely overwhelms me. But every time it does, I remind myself that I have to get back up. I have to be strong and brave not only for Jazzy, but for my other children too. Right now, fear doesn't get to win. We choose hope. We choose love. We choose to keep fighting.

This journey has changed me forever. I notice every breeze, every flower, every rainy day, every sunrise. Life feels so much more precious now.

Jazzy continues to work hard every single day. Her biggest challenge right now is her short-term memory. She remembers so much of her childhood, but sometimes mixes up names or forgets recent things. With repetition, therapy, patience, love, and support, we continue taking one step at a time.

She's now receiving upper cervical care twice a week, and after two C1 (atlas) corrections we've already seen encouraging improvements.

I haven't been able to fully return to work because caring for Jazzy is the most important job I'll ever have. Thank you to everyone who has donated and prayed. Because of your generosity, we've been able to begin treatments and purchase the equipment we need to monitor her every day.

This has also been the hardest season of my own life. There were days I took four showers just to feel the water and ground myself. Days I sat in the grass just trying to breathe and not lose myself. I started seeing my own psychiatrist and therapist twice a week because I realized something important: my daughter needs me healthy too.

One verse has carried me through this season:
"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." Psalm 34:18

I'll be temporarily adding our GoFundMe to my profile for anyone who feels called to help with her continued recovery. Whether you donate, share, or simply pray, thank you. I pray God blesses you a hundredfold for the love you've shown our family.

We will keep believing. We will keep fighting. And one day, I believe we'll celebrate seeing our girl fully shine again. 🤍

These will probably always be my favorite branding photos. 🤍(2023)

Not because they're perfect, but because they're the most me.

My sweet friend took these while my husband was on a one-year deployment. I showed up as myself, and she made me feel confident, beautiful, and reminded me why I love this career.

🎉This year marks 12 years as a lash artist, and what I've learned is that this has never just been about lashes. It's about people. The friendships, conversations, trust, and love we've shared over the years.

I've had some incredible moments (like going into labor while lashing with my son 🥴), and some really hard ones too. During COVID, after having a baby and while my husband was deployed, I lost an entire lash line I had poured my heart into. It hurt, and honestly, it changed me. But God used those lessons to help me grow.

Today, I'm still here. Still booked. Still grateful. Still choosing to be myself, with nothing to prove to anyone except God.

This industry will always change, but your heart can stay pure if you choose it. To every artist who's ever felt left out, used, or discouraged... don't let it change your kindness. Keep being you.

To my loyal clients from day one and everyone who's new here—thank you for believing in me for the last 12 years. I wouldn't be here without you. 🥹

Please keep praying for my Jazzy. I'll be sharing an update soon. 🤍

I apologize if this feels unprofessional to anyone. Posting on my business page but from Day 1 on Instagram I have expressed how much I love my children. This page used to feel a free space to share my world no rules and then all these "rules" were placed. I don't care anymore because I love authentic people and pages. I connect with the real people. The ones hurting and thriving! Both can also exist at the same time. I stopped posting as much many times because I thought I'm not being professional or lash related enough. The truth is lashing has been my passion for 12 years and got me through long deployments, health scares, pregnancies, and helped provide for my children. Your business is what you make of it mine is real, raw, and human. I am do grateful for all of you being here and helping my daughter. I wanted to share an update on my Jazzy.

Our family has experienced the hardest months of our lives watching Jazmine change so suddenly after her accident and head injury.

Yesterday we received information that gives us hope but also reminds us there is still much to learn. An upper cervical evaluation found significant misalignment in her neck from previous injuries. We don't know if this is contributing to what she's been experiencing, but we believe it deserves careful medical attention alongside everything else.

We are not stopping any part of her care. We will continue with neurology, her primary doctor, laboratory testing, nutritional care, psychiatric, and any other specialists who may help us understand the full picture.

Our greatest prayer is that God brings together every piece of this puzzle and places the right people in Jazmine's path.

Please continue praying for complete healing, wisdom for her doctors, strength for our family, and peace for Jazmine's heart.

Thank you for walking beside us. We will never forget the love that has surrounded our family during this journey. God bless 🙏🩷

Over the last two months, so many of you have prayed for my beautiful daughter, Jazmine. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. ❤️

Today, I'm asking for one more thing.

There is nothing more precious in this life than our children. As a mother, I would do absolutely anything to help my daughter heal.

We've started a GoFundMe to help with the specialized brain rehabilitation she needs. If you feel led to donate, share her story, or simply continue praying for her, our family would be forever grateful.

I truly believe God hears every prayer, and I believe He is still writing Jazmine's story.

Thank you for standing with our family during the hardest season of our lives. We love you all so much.

GoFundMe link is in my story. 🤍🙏
