I officially established Hurt Craft Deep Tissue Therapy in 2021. The last 5+ years have been a TON of growth— moving states, multiple offices/studios, hiring and firing employees, pivoting a “successful” business model for a bigger vision, moving cities (twice 🫠). I know you all have noticed and have heard from former therapists about the changes, but know Hurt Craft is not going anywhere! Every pivot I have made is to not only give my focus back to my personal clients, but to make space for the next stage of bringing the Hurt Method™ to Licensed Massage Therapists everywhere which means Y’ALL get more access to true deep tissue work! I love my OKC people and the support you’ve always shown for Hurt Craft and I’m stoked to do my little part to improve the deep tissue game for as many people as I can 🖤

The Hurt Method™ is not for everyone. Not every client needs aggressive and corrective work. You have to be ready to embrace temporary discomfort, a multi-day healing process and sometimes looking like you were dragged behind a truck to get to the feel good results. I do not fix you, I only shred your tissues and give them back the range of motion they’ve been lacking. What you do every day is the real fix— posture correction, strength training, nutrition, daily habits.

Who has been here long enough to remember these photos?! They got lost along the way as the studio updated and other therapists were brought on, but they are so cool to find now as I’m getting back to the roots of what Hurt Craft was always meant to be!

For those who don’t know how I even got here, I originally left the corporate world and became a Massage Therapist so I could box more and have the time to learn more about coaching/cornering. Obviously I leaned completely into the massage side instead. I’m a way better LMT than a boxer anyway! But these are a cool reminder of my “why” as I continue to navigate the next stages of Hurt Craft Deep Tissue Therapy.

(And yes, I’ve always required my body models to be tattooed 😂 It looks sick)
