On October 13, 1979, “Don’t Stop ’Til You Get Enough” by Michael Jackson reached number #1 on the US Billboard Hot 100.
The song became Jackson’s second solo number-one hit and his first as an adult, marking a major milestone in his career beyond The Jackson 5. With its infectious disco groove, falsetto vocals, and unmistakable energy, it helped establish him as a solo superstar and became one of the standout hits from his album Off the Wall.

In 1988 Michael had the most successful album on the planet — Bad, the first record ever to produce five #1 singles. The Grammys gave him nothing. No Album of the Year, no trophy of his own, a snub people still argue about today. But they handed him the stage — and he turned a night built to overlook him into one of the greatest live moments the show has ever seen. "The Way You Make Me Feel" into "Man in the Mirror," a quiet plea that built into a full gospel earthquake, the whole room on its feet before he finished. • 🧠 Diving into exclusive, hands-on learning sessions during Trinity Live to sharpen my skills.
• 🏨 Meeting my peers and mentors in person at the Embassy Suites Convention Center—the networking was truly unmatched.

Michael Jackson’s Thriller remains the world’s best-selling album, according to Guinness World Records. Its nine tracks produced seven U.S. Top 10 singles, while the album collected seven Grammy Awards. Jackson wrote and co-produced four of its songs, including “Billie Jean” and “Beat It.”
The title track also became a 14-minute horror film directed by John Landis, helping expand what a music video could be. Alongside “Billie Jean” and “Beat It,” its success brought Jackson into heavy MTV rotation and helped open the channel to more Black artists.
