Friday night during Karma Hours, I had a moment of clarity:

Oh. I’m her(e).

I’ve moved a lot. I joke that I might have a moving kink because I genuinely love new spaces. I love designing them, arranging them, imagining what they could become. Who I could become.

But, if I’m being honest, my moves weren’t fully about the space. They were about leaving something behind.

An identity. A mindset. A version of myself. A stress generator. A portal I no longer wanted to walk through.

I’m downsizing the studio. While unpacking boxes I’ve been face to face with old versions of myself. The makeup artist and product line curator. The hairstylist. The survivor. The baby lash artist. The hustler. The performer.

And my favorite: The version of me who felt guilty letting go of things simply because they made money.

I’m learning that outgrowing something doesn’t always feel exciting. Sometimes it feels confusing or heavy.

But, what I realized Friday night is that what makes a space feel good has never been the size of it. It’s the absence of performance.

People don’t have to perform here. And, neither do I.

Somewhere within transition, I had the thought:

I’m not trying to become her anymore. I’m here.

Fridays are my favorite at Lash Karma ✨

Something I’ve learned is that some things are more beautiful when they’re still becoming. The studio is changing. I am changing.

This move wasn’t expected in the slightest. But maybe that’s what makes this Karma Hours feel so special.

One thing I’m really excited about is giving the Karma Closet the love she deserves. SO MANY GOOD FINDS! And our tarot space is getting cozy and grounding. No more TV tray for readings 🤭

This version of Lash Karma isn’t fully finished. But she’s present. She’s cozy. She’s safe.

Fridays are also Venus days, it’s all about the indulgence of life’s beauty and pleasures in here.

We’ll have wine. Small bites. Permanent jewelry. Yoga + wellness teachers with classes for YOU. Sexy, moody playlist. The besttttt vibes, with good conversation.
