As we celebrate America’s 250th birthday, I’m celebrating the people who make this country what it is.

The beauty of America has never been that we’re all the same. It’s that we come from different backgrounds, cultures, identities, faiths, and experiences—and together, we create something stronger. Diversity isn’t something to fear. It’s something to celebrate.

At my salon, everyone belongs. No matter who you are, who you love, where you come from, or how you identify, you deserve to feel safe, respected, and welcome.

Today, I’m grateful for the freedom to be ourselves, to care for one another, and to continue building communities where everyone has a seat at the table.
