Hi Estie,
It’s been a while… I know! 🩵
During our time away, I’ve been doing a lot of reflecting, readjusting, and reconnecting with the vision I had for Dream Wax Studio from the very beginning.
And honestly, I wanted to take a moment to reintroduce myself, my mission, and the heart behind this business.
Before I became an esthetician, I worked at Sephora. I remember having women of color come up to me, and one of the very first things they would say was:
“Oh my God, I’m so glad you’re Black!”
A few years later, when I began working as an esthetician at EWC
I heard it again.
“I’m so glad you’re Black.”
Do you see the trend?
It made me wonder… Why is that a thing?
Why did simply seeing someone who understood their skin, their concerns, and their experiences feel like such a relief?
That question became one of the reasons I decided to build something of my own.
I wanted to create a space where melanin-rich skin was not an afterthought. A space where women of color could feel seen, understood, valued, and genuinely cared for.
From the products I create to the online trainings, my goal has always been to curate an experience that feels like more than just waxing. I want Dream Wax Studio to feel like a community for other estheticians and beauty lovers — a place where can feel free to grow and feel confident in your skin
That was six years ago.
Six years of learning.
Six years of creating.
Six years of growing.
Six years of dreaming.
Through all of the changes, pauses, pivots, and new beginnings, you have still been here.
For that, I am incredibly grateful.
Thank you for supporting my small business, believing in my vision, purchasing my products, booking services, sharing my work, checking in, and simply continuing to remember Dream Wax Studio.
As I step into this next chapter, I’m excited to continue curating the magic and creating the kind of space I always wished existed.

This is a clean-up strip 🌈
Everyone has their own preferred method and technique — and that’s perfectly fine!
But the Brazilian wax technique I use (and teach) allows for effortless application and removal of hair without causing trauma to the skin.
When I’m training other Wax Specialists, I always emphasize the importance of understanding your own strengths and weaknesses.
That’s how you take the skills and knowledge I share and make them your own — creating a signature technique that sets you apart from every other waxer.

Would you believe this was her first wax in 8 months??
You might be thinking… “8 months? What’s the big deal??”
Okay, here’s the tea ☕️ — when it comes to waxing, consistency is key!
