This client has been with me since my beginner days as a pmu artist! she was actually like my third model when I started in 2021 and has trusted me with her brows ever since 🥺💗
In 2021, we did her initial ombre powder brow session and then did a follow up 6-8 week touch up. We did an annual touch up around 2023 to refresh the color and she’s now returned for another touch up 3 years later✨
One thing I do as a pmu brow artist is push out touch ups as long as possible to avoid oversaturation, overworking the skin and allowing natural fading. This in return helps to avoid pigment migration, ashy brows/unwanted color change, having to go through removal sessions, etc. If you swipe to the last slide you can see her 3 year healed results. There is still pigment leftover, but the color has faded about 50% and the outline and shape have lost definition. This is the perfect time for a touch up!
Controlled fading is actually a sign of healthy, well-executed permanent makeup. Brows should soften over time so they can be refreshed and adjusted as your features, style, and skin change.🫶
A few years ago, I took a chance on myself and invested in a brow training that completely changed my life.
