As promised earlier this week, here's my perspective on how to reach out to artists for custom work and mentorship/internship. I hope these thoughts will help either potential clients or students. Fellow artists, care to share your perspective? Write your comments below, keeping them clean and constructive, as we attract learners from all ages, genres, and at different parts of their journey as artists. Upcoming topics include how to prepare for a middle/high school competition, the best uses for cosmetic contact lenses, and theatrical makeup versus street makeup. Happy Fall Solstice everyone!!!
For me, it signifies the yearly salmon run, where these fish swim back to where they were hatched do their final act -- laying eggs, fertilizing them, continuing the circle of life.
It looks like we'll be open a bit longer, so if you're in the need for whatever we have left, we're your resource. For example, at work, we are unloading Christmas merch already, and we were bringing the trees out to the floor. I thought "I have 6 full trees to sell for $10 a bag"....

Buckle up, shoppers! 🚀 Our schedule for the next two weeks is out and it's a real doozy! 💥 We're offering 'name your price' deals on tons of stuff because, let's be real, we're tired of storing it all! 😂 The more you take, the less we have to cram into our temporary storage unit (aka the condo that is smaller than the shop 🤣).
