For my Model Sara- she already had a great foundation to work with- and that’s the key, working with the hair-NOT against it!

So instead of overdoing it, we got intentional.

✨ I removed bulk in the wrong places + built volume where her curl pattern actually lives
✨ Created a shape that supports her density, not fights it
✨ I refined her color to better complement her natural warmth—enhancing, not masking**The focus for this show was cut and styling, but if I can get my hands on some color- you already know!

And THIS is the difference.
Same curls.
Same client.
But now everything flows.

If your shape is off, your curls will struggle to sit right—no matter what products you use.

STYLE:
I styled Sara with a twist-out using Joico Curls Like Us Foam + Crème for defined, hydrated, frizz-controlled curls ✨

COLOR:
Her highlights weren’t a problem—but, the tone was off for her warm undertone, which is why everything felt a little disconnected. Instead of adding more lightness, I refined everything with Joico LumiShine Liquid Demis 5WC + 6NC to create a richer, more cohesive, dimensional brunette.

My coloring carries depth, warmth, and richness that can’t be ignored:

Why? Because Cool Summer is cool, soft, and lighter — and I am none of those things.
