I find myself immediately resorting to “good hby?!” when a client asks me how I’ve been lately, but the truth is… life’s been kicking my ass this year.

I excel at being the strong one. In fact, I’ve trained my nervous system to barely react while my entire life feels like it’s in flames. Safety + stability are things I’ve been chasing my whole life.

And then, for a while, it felt like I lost both.

But somewhere in all of that, I realized I never lost myself.

I’ve been on a journey to love myself this whole time.

I am someone who finds the beauty in absolutely anything. It’s why I started this business, for God’s sake, and I’m damn proud of myself for how far I’ve come.

For getting through the days I didn’t think I could.
For facing the fears that terrified the absolute s**t out of me.
For continuing to show up even when I didn’t feel strong.

This comeback is personal. For me.

Most of my OG Aisha Beauty baddies already know the drill and have their appointments locked in through the end of the year.

The rest of y’all are gonna keep playing if you want to😭

We’re officially heading into my busiest season behind the chair, and once that calendar starts tightening up, that “I’ll book later” energy gets real humbling real fast.

I’m just saying… prebook now while you still have choices.

Because trying to squeeze into a 20-minute brow cleanup slot is not the holiday miracle I want for you pookie

This is my favorite kind of client.

I love when my vivid baddies come in with ideas, screenshots, doodles, half-baked concepts, whatever. You bring me the creativity, and then I get to figure out the logistics of how we can actually make it happen without unnecessarily putting your hair through hell.

Especially with vivid color, I’m always thinking ahead about the fade-out, what tones are gonna play nicely together next, what can be shifted with deposit alone, and what actually needs to be relightened versus what absolutely does not.

Because yes, we can be creative as f**k… but we’re still gonna be strategic about it bc we do not play about hair integrity here 👏🏽

At this point I’m less of a hairstylist and more of the keeper of classified information.

While Ashley was taking Chynna’s photos, Dani and I were obviously supposed to do what any responsible business owners would do… sit in the corner and have a completely delusional bestie conversation about life, business, whatever random thought came up next.

Somehow every Haus Collective brainstorm starts off sounding unserious and then three weeks later we’re actually doing the thing😭

So really, this was research.
Very important research.

Delulu Conversations with my Bestie may or may not become a recurring series because apparently we’re incapable of being in the same room without turning a five-minute conversation into a full production😂

Girl you can WANT to book the appointment all day long… but then squirrel brain kicks in, you open 17 other tabs, answer a text, remember you need paper towels, and somehow the appointment never gets booked😭
