23 years ago, I transitioned surrounded by people that we’re supposed to protect me and love me…

23 years later, when I needed to be protected from those same people- other are the people that largely stepped up to protect me, and so this post is less about my and more about those women who stepped up and came to my rescue when I needed it the most- there’s no real order and I’m mostly writing what I couldn’t record without crying but my timelines already got one of those videos and that’s enough…
- thank you for giving me and my dogs shelter for a month and helping me move when I was looking at living on the street after being violently removed from my mother‘s home- I was basically a stranger to you and you saved me- literally- I can’t thank you enough, you are a real sister- the same can be said for you- you offered a room to me when I had thought I had nowhere to go and the friendship you have shown me since is a true sister and I thank you so greatly for your kindness thank you for organizing a benefit and donating the proceeds to me so that I could put food on the table for the month for doing your magic and getting me into this cute little apartment for the dogs and me for donating a couple months worth of pet supplies, for always answering when I call and letting me cry and complain for hours at a time about the struggles I’ve been in for the last 2yrs, Jonasu thank you for “hiring” me and having my back and for everything else you’ve done, Betsey- thank you for visiting me in lockup and all the help you have given, thank you for being the sister and family I always wanted and needed, - I’m sorry you were forced into this mess but I can’t thank you enough for following through and doing the best you could and showing up better for me than blood relatives and thank you for taking care of Lilli and Jade I miss them so much and hope to be reunited with them soon- thank you especially to everyone who donated, shared my story, reached out with kind words there’s so many of you and I am truly grateful -J
