The kids are going back to school, the house might finally be quiet, and we’re all wondering how people so small can eat so much and make so much noise. 😂

Parents, grandparents, bonus parents, and anyone who got voluntold to babysit… WE SEE YOU. 👀🤣

If you made it through without losing your mind or hiding in the bathroom for 5 minutes of peace, congratulations! 😂

Now it’s time to reconnect with the adults at The Parlor Room and remember what a conversation sounds like without someone yelling, “WATCH THIS!” every 30 seconds. 🤣🍻

Apparently the tiny assistant and I have a very different idea of what “running home for a quick break” means. 😂
I was thinking a little fresh air.
He was thinking dirt, trucks, and getting as filthy as possible.
Staying clean is hard. 😂

🍁🍂 Fall break means the tiny assistant is back in the building, whether I asked for backup or not. 😂

Busy morning over here, but I’ve still got plenty of openings this week.

So if your kid’s hair is currently giving “we’ve been on fall break for 3 weeks”… I can fix that. 😂

Sensory-sensitive appointments are available after 3pm for the kiddos who need a little more time and a little less chaos.

Seriously though, y’all have been keeping me BUSY and I appreciate every single one of you… even if I’ve been too busy to actually post about it. 😂

I’ve had the absolute honor of doing a few first haircuts lately, and I just had to share these little guys. 🥹

I know a first haircut can be a BIG deal — for the kiddo and for the parents. Some kids sit like champs, some need a little convincing, and some act like I’m asking them to donate a kidney. 😂

But that first experience matters.

Building trust from the very beginning can make all the difference. If we can make that first haircut a positive experience, we’re already setting ourselves up for better, easier haircuts down the road.

They leave with their first haircut certificate, a few curls for the baby book, and hopefully the feeling that haircuts aren’t so bad after all. ❤️
