Macee Rose Trading Co - Handmade - Vintage Finds

Website Wednesday ✨
A little vintage goodness has made its way to the website. 💙

This Vintage Mint Macramé Lucite Handle Handbag is wonderfully retro, a little unexpected, and definitely not something you’re going to see everywhere.

It’s one of those pieces that feels perfectly at home with a sundress and sandals, but would be just as cute with jeans and a simple tee. And because she’s vintage, there’s only one available

Would you carry this one? 💙 Which detail gets you — the mint, the macramé, or those lucite handles? 😍

Maker Monday 💙
It’s been a few days since I’ve made it over here, life got a little busy behind the scenes! And what better way to start the week than making more of something that recently received another 5-star Etsy review? ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

There’s just something extra special about creating a piece, and then hearing that someone loved it. That kind of feedback never gets old and it definitely makes me want to make more. 💙

Happy Maker Monday from Macee Rose Trading Company. ✂️💙✨

I saw this, and I really wanted to share this with everyone. This is beautiful ! October 27 is widely recognized as the day during the Día de los Mu***os celebration when the spirits of deceased pets return to visit their homes. The TraditionThe Date: October 27 marks the specific day when pet souls—including dogs, cats, birds, and other animal companions—are believed to cross back over to visit their families. The Belief: Rooted in a modern expansion of traditional Día de los Mu***os customs (and pre-Hispanic beliefs regarding guide dogs like the Xoloitzcuintli), the bright colors and scents of the holiday help guide animal spirits back to familiar ground. How to Create a Pet Ofrenda (Altar)Photographs: Place a picture of your departed pet or write their name clearly.Candles and Light: Light white or yellow candles to illuminate and guide their path back home.Marigolds (Cempasúchil): Set out marigold flowers, as their bright color and distinct scent are thought to mark the spiritual trail.Water and Food: Leave a small bowl of fresh water to refresh them after their long journey, alongside their favorite treats or food.Personal Belongings: Add comforting items like their favorite toys, collar, leash, or sweater. The is an amazing tradition. #traditions #mexico🇲🇽 #díadelosmuertos #furbabies #halloweentradition

The weekend plans at Perry Farms are officially: no plans, just seed. 😂🌻🐦
Honestly, she may have this whole Sunday thing figured out better than the rest of us.

Rainy day at Perry Farms. Some of us are taking it harder than others. 😂 This is not a dog taking a nap. This is someone who has achieved full spiritual detachment from responsibility. 😭😂

Front Porch Sunday at Perry Farms

There’s just something about a cool, quiet Sunday morning. 🍂

The windows are open, the breeze is moving through the house, Golden Hour at Perry Farms is playing on Spotify, and I’m tucked into the rocking chair with a good book, a blanket and the dogs beside me.

For just a little while, there’s nowhere to be and nothing that needs doing.

Of course, the crisp air has me convinced that fall has officially arrived… which means there’s a very good chance I’ll be full on fall decorating today. 🤣😂

But for now, I’m staying right here.

Gather well. Live slowly. 💙

✨ Studio Saturday: Smell-Good Edition ✨

I haven’t spent much time actually making in the studio lately, unless organizing, website tweaking, packing orders, and getting completely sidetracked count. 😂🤣
So today we’re switching it up with a little Smell Good Saturday.

Incense, pretty holders, and those little details that make your space feel cozy, calm, and just a little more special. 💙 Because sometimes the easiest way to change the whole mood of a room is simply to make it smell really, really good.

What’s your favorite kind of scent ? fresh & clean, warm & cozy, sweet, earthy, or a little mysterious? 👀✨
