Let’s talk about filler. It’t the TABOO everyone has reverted to. First it was BOTOX!! Ooooo…. Is toxin scary, sure, do we love it, absolutely, done well it’s amazing. The same concept goes for filler. Honestly, it’s an injectable hyaluronic acid in a gel form. Come on everyone, it integrates into your tissues. It helps to hydrate your skin. It helps to restore some of the lost volume we experience as we age.
Is it scary, sure if done improperly. Can it be beautiful, absolutely!! In the right hands and at the right pace. Aesthetics is never a one and done situation. We spend LOTS of time with you. We get to know YOU, and we work WITH you to achieve beautiful natural results.
This gem saw me a month ago for some mid face support and some lower face as well. We did two syringes initially and had her back today. We added 1 more to the marionette lines and just a touch to the NLF and chin shadows. Slow and steady for a beautiful finish.
Don’t fear the filler. And for those of you out there scaring your patients, shame on you. We as providers should be educating them and treating them within their natural anatomy.
