New research presented at the EADV Congress this week analyzed 38 of the top viral Korean skincare / “glass skin” TikToks. Nearly 95% contained at least one misleading claim. 84% ignored that different skin types need different routines. Almost half stacked active ingredients with zero safety guidance. Only ONE video mentioned irritation risk — and not a single one suggested seeing a professional.
