This position is responsible for conducting research from materials in the JBA archival collections to identify and historic information, maps and documents for the long-range plan being developed through the services of a multi-disciplinary consultant team that started in November 2025.

We're pretty excited about this year's honorees.

This October, we'll be celebrating the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society, PHS President Matt Rader, and Congressman Dwight Evans at Twilight in the Garden!

These honorees have each played a role in making Philadelphia a greener, stronger, and more vibrant city, and we're thrilled to recognize them during an evening at one of the city's most special green spaces.

You may have noticed that Harvest Fest is not on this list. This year, rather than organizing the event, the Sankofa Community Farm team will be away at a learning opportunity! We'll miss you all pumpkin painting and garlic planting this year, but looking forward to seeing you at the rest of our fall festivals.

🐢Indigenous People's Day Celebration

OYC is also currently searching for Indigenous artists to be featured in an art exhibition, which will debut at the event.
