We spoke with The Philadelphia Inquirer about specific obstacles we face as organizers of public events that support small business.

For years, the City had been telling local organizations like ours to prepare for World Cup festivities. Now, they're trying to pull the rug out from under East Passyunk's community-led Pride festivities and our World Cup Block Parties. Despite red tape, blanket denials, and City misinformation, 𝘄𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗲 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀.
