Every Wednesday at 7PM, Soft Sound Sessions at Bari Butiki offers our community a space to pause, breathe, and reset through rotating experiences rooted in sound, restoration, reflection, and care.
On Wednesday, July 29th, the incredible Ari & Staci of Bathing in Sounds return for an immersive evening of crystal singing bowls, chimes, grounding frequencies, and intentional sound designed to help you release the stress of the week and reconnect with yourself.

When we talk about giving flowers, there are not enough flowers in the universe to give Dr. Robbin Alston for all she has done. 💐
This is the beautiful soul who forever shifted my perspective, instilling in me the understanding that healing is essential and that it begins from within. Her words, her presence, and her wisdom have had a lasting impact on my life. Some people don't just teach, they transform lives. Dr. Robbin Alston is one of those people.✨️

The Black Bottom Lives On!
Yesterday, UltraSilk Gallery and Bari Butiki were honored to serve as a host location for The Black Bottom Lives On! Pop-Up Jazz Series, welcoming the incredible Tonya Lynette & Company for an afternoon filled with music, history, community, and joy.
Guests enjoyed an unforgettable jazz performance, connected with neighbors, and even created their own signature drink, The Bari Butiki (Chardonnay & Fresh Fruit), lovingly named by Dee and Kelly, who had an absolute blast.
The Black Bottom Lives On! is more than a jazz series. It celebrates the resilience and rich cultural legacy of Philadelphia's historic Black Bottom community, whose neighborhood was displaced in the 1950s and '60s, while ensuring its stories, music, and spirit continue to live on through community gatherings like these.
A heartfelt thank you to Karen Palmer for thinking of Bari Butiki as one of this year's host locations and for your dedication to preserving and celebrating this important history. It was truly an honor to be a part of it.
