When I told people I was going to a Head & Breakfast workshop, i probably shouldn’t have been surprised by the confused look on their faces. I mean we literally dissect facial anatomy by day and eat home-cooked meals at a kitchen table by night. We nerded out over anatomy, drank coffee, and learned from other injectors who care as much as I do. This is the kind of education that actually changes how you practice. If you’re a nurse injector, your education doesn’t stop at your license. I’m in Oregon right now dissecting facial anatomy because staying sharp is non-negotiable. And here’s the thing: your medical director should be right there with you. If they’re just signing off on paperwork while you’re in the trenches doing the work, you’re not on the same page. Find someone who’s actually in it with you. Your patients deserve that.
My NP license has been asking for a raise, so I told it to clock in somewhere else. If you’re an RN or NP lying awake dreading your next shift, hear me out: I built an entire IV vitamin therapy business outside the hospital, and now I’m teaching other nurses how to do the exact same thing without an MBA or six figures—just clinical training and a plan, which I already built so you can stop doom-scrolling and start your escape.
Starting an IV therapy business is the easy part. Knowing what to do when the patient in the chair doesn’t follow the textbook is the part that matters.
