I definitely want to talk about this one because it's a beauty myth that has been passed around for a long time.One beauty myth that still gets passed around is that darker skin doesn't need sunscreen.
Yes, melanin provides some natural protection from UV rays—but that doesn't mean our skin can't be affected by the sun.
Sun protection still matters, especially when you're trying to care for concerns like uneven skin tone and dark spots.
And sunscreen isn't just something to think about when you're going to the beach. It's part of taking care of your skin on regular days too.
Healthy skin isn't about doing everything perfectly. It's about understanding what your skin needs and making informed choices about how you care for it.
