~~this post is extremely overdue~~

I’m popping up on here to send out a HUGE thank you and little update to my clients in NY. The reason behind this business of mine. The incredible humans who supported me and warmly welcomed me into their homes.

Last July I took a huge leap forward and moved to a place that I always dreamed of living. Arizona.

The last 10 months have been FULL of change, challenge, discomfort, beauty and new beginnings. I have been working full time at a fast paced barbershop downtown Phoenix, learning so much about humans, culture and hair.

My desire to travel and help people is still very present and that’s why I’m here, re-branding a bit, so I can share myself and mobile-services to Phoenix & surrounding areas of the valley.

Recognizing the enormous need for this service in NY motivates me to grow this business in a bigger, busier place where I’m able to continue to grow and evolve as well as positively impact the lives of others.

I am eager to spread light throughout Phoenix and soak up as many lessons and learnings as I can along the way.

My roots are in Rochester, NY as well as a huge piece of my heart.
Thank you for being a part of my journey🤍
All my love,
Audrey.

To some, getting a haircut is the most frightening thing on earth. Today I met Henry (& Pouff 😽). He did such an amazing job despite my unfamiliar face in a mask and how anxious haircuts make him. We did what we could in the amount of time we had. Tolerating & getting comfortable with touch and sound doesn’t happen overnight. It sure is a 𝕡𝕣𝕠𝕔𝕖𝕤𝕤 but with consistency and patience comes progress and growth!✨

Happy to be able to bring some joy to those who have experienced isolation for longer than most. An outside haircut is definitely better than no haircut at all ❤️

Pre haircut chats with Evie. Mainly discussing what’s in the backpack. Always very exciting 🥰(peep the bell bottom corduroys)

This post is about 𝕔𝕠𝕟𝕤𝕚𝕤𝕥𝕖𝕟𝕔𝕪 & 𝕡𝕣𝕠𝕘𝕣𝕖𝕤𝕤.
I’ve been cutting Neds hair for the past 4 years, once a month. (✨progress doesn’t happen overnight✨) At first, it was a constant battle and took a lot of persuading and patience on my end and the parents. He was always extremely sensitive around the back of his neck which would make it very challenging to leave him without a mullet. 🙃
Today, I showed up, Ned opened the door for me and said “Hello Audrey I’m ready for my haircut.” I am blown away by his growth. He tolerates touch so much better than he ever did before. A once dreaded and anxiety provoking experience finally turned into something enjoyable 🥰 we love to see it!

All cleaned up 👏🏻
Meet Tom. It had been several months since he’d gotten a haircut last. Quite the transformation! I cut his hair in the driveway surrounded by his antique car collection. He shared with me the history and locations behind the cars which was super interesting to learn about. He also shared that he used to own a pizza shop downtown which was apparently the fist shop in Rochester to start delivering pizzas!
