I realized about 10 years ago as I cut a clients hair way to short, and colored another 2 levels darker….that something had to change for me. Just graduating beauty school was not enough. I started following stylist on instagram that were delivering the looks my clients desired and stopped making excuses and went to their classes. I’ve been more of a smaller, more intimate class girly but every now and again I go to a hair show. Hair shows are truly like the Grammys of the hair world; platform artist….brands….it covers every possible education topic we could possibly ever desire. I literally had questions answered for me for problems that just occurred behind the chair last week. I’m always so energized to get back behind the chair, to right the wrongs and be better for my business. I’m thankful for the clients who have been with me along the way, through good and bad. I’m most thankful for the salons I’ve worked at that have been family to me and played such a role in loving me, and for my current salon family . Take the trip❤️

The girls at Kayla’s Southern Roots and I are headed to one of the biggest hair shows there is, in Orlando Florida!!! We are out of office until Tuesday and we may be going a day early to hit all 4 parks at Disney🥳🥳 I’ve been working double time to enjoy the next few weeks with my salon family and a few World Series trips with my little fam. I’m excited to enjoy the time off, so ill get back when I’m back in office on Tuesday❤️
