Today is the day!

Rankin Community Juneteenth Celebration! 4pm - 8pm in the parking lot behind Rankin Christian Center and in between the Rankin Borough building and the Impact Center! Join us for:

Dorothy Height, Antwon Rose, & Yvonne Spencer mural dedication at 4pm

Over 25 food and other vendors featuring Aunt Cheryl's chicken and desserts!

My brother and the Chief of Freedom Day Bracey will serve on our MC get us fired up about all things black!

And the stage will be rocking starting at 5pm Balafon West African Dance Ensemble, Jordan aka Livefromthecity, and of course well have the family from NASH.V.ILL take us hone!

Bring the elders for some bingo, let the kids grab some free hot dogs and play in the bounce house, get a check up with our health screenings, or just bring a chair and enjoy the evening with community as we kick off the Juneteenth season with an Afro-futuristic twist.
