Something we see often is that when hair begins to go Grey/white/silver the texture changes. It can be course, resistant, “wiry like” , dry and pretty much just have a mind of its own 🤣. So today we were able to find a few solutions that meet some of the frustration she’s having around some of these concerns. We were able to speak to a regimen that works for her texture, her lifestyle and her ultimate goal of growing her hair out.
Consistency Patience Regimen- can’t have one without the other and meet your goals.

Something that never gets old is -serving! We as a salon are grateful to be able to use our God given talents to help build up our neighbors who are in transition. We were able to cut and style 29 people’s hair in 2.5-3 hours. Then we were able to take a tour of the facility. has a beautiful facility and are doing Gods work there. Helping people at every stage and transition in life.
We were able to give aluminum brackets, deodorants, toothbrushes, sting backpacks, chapsticks, socks, pads, shampoo conditioner and SO MUCH MORE! That is the rooted community showing up, every guest & supporter who was able to purchase or pray, thank you! Your gifts and prayers went where you couldn’t. People made bags and bags of items that were needed. We left have nothing but our tools to take back with us. One woman told us that morning she got everything stolen and so we were right on time with the help…
My eyes were filled many times that day as we toured the facility, heard stories and removed weight from their heads. Jesus, thank you for the opportunity and thank you to our guests once again for blessing people.

Does lighting matter that much? YES!
Though our salon has really great natural light is still made up of artificial indoor lighting. So it’s super important for us to show our guests their hair 2 ways. Indoor & outdoor in the natural light. It makes such a difference. And honestly makes us (yes, the guest & stylist) love their hair even more😍😍
