Nearly ten years ago, this beautiful woman first sat in my chair as a guest. What started as hair appointments became years of conversations, laughter, milestones, loyalty and, somewhere along the way, one of the dearest friendships in my life.

That’s one of the greatest gifts of doing this work for as long as I have.

Because experience teaches you that the things worth having rarely need much announcing. Trust is built. Loyalty is earned. Relationships are nurtured. And the ones that are genuine have a wonderful way of standing the test of time.

So today, on her birthday, I get to celebrate both the beautiful woman and the beautiful hair. 🤍

It’s been a minute since I properly introduced myself around here, so hello—to those who’ve been with me for years and those who may have just found Hair Society.

I’m the owner and stylist behind Hair Society Pittsburgh, an intimate salon experience built around something I’ve always believed: great hair is personal.

For me, this career has never just been about cutting and coloring hair. It’s about relationships, trust, honest conversations, a lot of laughter, and creating a space where you can walk in, exhale, and know you’re taken care of.

My approach to hair is thoughtful, customized and intentionally low-maintenance. I want your hair to look incredible when you leave my chair—but more importantly, I want it to work for your actual life.

Hair Society has grown into exactly what I hoped it would be: personal, welcoming, a little unconventional, and centered around an incredible community of guests who have trusted me with their hair—and often a whole lot more—for years.

A few things about me outside the salon: I’m a Pittsburgh guy, dog dad, design enthusiast, lover of a beautifully put-together space, good food, great conversation, and finding humor in just about everything.

These days, my guest list is intentionally small and currently full. New guests begin through my waitlist so I can continue giving every person in my chair the time, attention and experience they deserve.
