💡 NOT ALL LOTIONS BELONG IN A TANNING BED 💡

Many professional indoor tanning products are formulated WITHOUT petroleum-derived ingredients because certain ingredients have historically been associated with acrylic degradation, clouding, residue buildup, and reduced acrylic clarity.

🔍 Common examples include:

• Mineral Oil
• Petrolatum
• Petroleum Jelly
• Paraffinum Liquidum
• Paraffin
• Microcrystalline Wax
• Ozokerite
• Ceresin
• Isoparaffins

⚠️ Products that may contain these ingredients include:

• Baby Oil
• Petroleum-based body oils
• Vaseline
• Products containing mineral oil, petrolatum, or paraffin derivatives

⚠️ Important: Not all oils or lotions are harmful to tanning bed acrylics. Many professional indoor tanning lotions contain
plant-based oils such as jojoba, safflower, sunflower, argan, and coconut oils that are commonly used in salon-approved formulations.

📖 Before using any product for indoor tanning, take a moment to read the ingredient list.

😂 Some people come into your life for a reason…

Others remind you why a tanning session is more relaxing than dealing with people. ☀️🤎

Life’s too short to waste your energy. Set everyone free, go tanning, and protect your peace. 😌✨

Tanning Tips 101 💫

Your tanning session may be over… but your skin is still working ⚙️ ☀️🧬

UV exposure triggers a MELANOGENESIS 🧬
The process your skin uses to produce melanin. 🤎✨

And that process doesn’t just switch off the second your UV exposure ends. Your skin needs time to produce and distribute that pigment. ⏰🙌

So more UV right away doesn’t automatically mean a darker or better tan. 🙅‍♀️☀️

Think of it this way:

☀️ UV sends the signal
🧬 Your skin responds
🤎 Melanin is produced
⏰ Your tan develops over time

Give your skin time to do the work. 🙌🤎✨

Tan gradually. ☀️ Avoid burning. 🔥 Respect the biology. 🧬

Ever wonder why tanning salons have a 24-hour policy? ⏰☀️🤎

There’s a reason salons have this policy it’s about giving your skin the time it needs between UV sessions. 🧬✨

Your skin continues responding to UV exposure after you leave the tanning bed. ☀️ The tanning process doesn’t simply stop when your session ends. Your skin is still doing its thing behind the scenes. 🧬🤎

Leaving at LEAST 24 hours between UV sessions is important, and giving your skin 48 hours is often even better. ⏰🙌 Especially when you’re building your tan, your skin needs time to respond before you expose it to more UV. ☀️

That’s why responsible salons won’t let you tan multiple times in the same day or squeeze sessions too close together. 🙅‍♀️☀️⏰

More UV doesn’t mean a better tan. 🚫☀️

Consistency and responsible exposure means smarter tanning. 🤎✨

Respect the 24-hour minimum ⏰ and when you can, give your skin 48 hours to do its thing. ☀️🧬✨

FAQ TIME 👩‍🏫‼️

More tanning doesn’t always mean a faster or better tan. 🙅‍♀️☀️

After a UV session, your skin’s response continues even after you leave the tanning bed. Melanin production and visible colour can continue developing for up to 48 hours. ⏰🤎

⚠️ Signs of overexposure can also take several hours to appear. Tanning again too soon could mean adding more UV before you fully know how your skin responded to the previous session.

That’s why 48 hours between sessions is often the sweet spot 👌 it gives your colour time to develop and allows you to see how your skin responded before your next exposure. ✨

Your tanning schedule should also consider:

✨ Your skin type
✨ The specific tanning equipment
✨ The recommended exposure schedule
✨ How your skin responded after your last session

Give your skin time, build your colour gradually and never tan skin that feels warm, tender, tight or looks pink. ☀️✨

Consistency beats overexposure every time. 🤎
