I think about that a lot. The years I spent worrying about things that didn’t matter. So now I’m taking the trips instead of just dreaming about them, wearing the outfits I thought I couldn’t wear, & doing everything without caring about what someone else thinks. Nobody warned us about this part. The house that’s so quiet. The changing body. The 3am brain that won’t shut up.
I thought I was the only one. Then I started posting about it and you all showed up in my DMs & comments saying “me too.”

Camping and cruises. Middle-age, high maintenance…and afraid of pirates.
Travel advice isn’t one-size-fits-all. 👗 Packing privileges are not created equal. What I wouldn’t give to be able to travel with JUST carry on luggage!
So no, I’m not overpacking. Some of us just have more fabric to work with. 😂✈️
