Affordable & Effective Skin Care Treatment by a Passionate Professional As a teen, I remember suffering with acne & breakouts.
I also had a severe bout of cystic acne in my 20s that led to aggressive treatment with Accutane- that treatment was accompanied by a dreadful feeling of not wanting to be captured in photos. I also watched my brothers go through adolescence with skin problems, and my heart went out to them. I can absolutely say - these experiences are what ignited my passion for skin care. After graduating from Texas A&M University in 1999, I decided to pursue a career in the beauty and cosmetic field. I had the opportunity to work with amazing skin care and make up brands and creators of those brands. I've worked with Estée Lauder, Chanel, Trish McEvoy, Laura Mercier, and Skin Organics. Working with all of these amazing companies only further fueled my passion for the skin care industry. Eventually, I determined I wanted to be able to address individual's skin care concerns in a more hands on way. In 2008, I decided to embark on the journey to become a Licensed Esthetician. After obtaining that license in 2009, I began working in days spas and salons in the Austin, TX area. In April 2009, I had a fateful meeting with Ann Webb of Skin Organics and began working in her skin care clinic as a Medical Aesthetician Intern. I was exposed to amazing treatment protocols - facials, chemical peels, enzyme therapy, oxygen therapy, laser hair removal, and photofacials. After my intership, I began working as a Medical Aesthetician at Bastrop Total Skin Care - under the supervision of physicians Dr. Rajeev Gupta and Leslie Lindholm, FNP-C.
2009 and 2010 brought lots of changes - I married my wonderful husband, Ronald and his work relocated us to the North Dallas area. It has been a long burning passion to open my own skin care studio...and finally - Rox Skin Studio will open inside of Mattison Avenue Salon Suites & Spa in June 2011. My desire is to extend affordable and effective skin care treatments to clients that seek a skin care therapist that really cares about making a difference in their skin.

♡︎ For the time being, online booking IS NOT available. This allows me to be in complete control of the schedule - and insure proper timing, cleaning, and social distancing between treatments/clients.
♡︎ Please wait in the parking lot and call or text me when you arrive. I will let you know when to come in.
♡︎ You must wear a mask/protective face covering as you enter and exit Mattison Avenue Salon Suites & Spa. Once you are in my room, you may remove your mask.
♡︎ I will have hand sanitizer available for you to use as you enter and exit my room.
♡︎ I will only have one person in my treatment room at a time. Please do not bring children or extra people with you who are not receiving a service.

I have good news! At home Mini Facial Kits are now available! Have you been missing your Rox Skin Studio treatments?? I know I've been missing you in the studio. Does your skin need a little care & attention? I've got you covered! I'm currently taking pre-orders on some select items (pre-orders for this first round will close midnight CST on Wednesday, April 29, 2020). When I receive all pre-ordered inventory, I will reach out to you to arrange for porch/mailbox delivery (and there may be some limited contact pick up options available).

With this bit of sad news...I'd just like to remind all that I was previously scheduled to be out of the studio for vacation March 29 through April 20. So, some of this closure time - I had already planned for. 😎
Hopefully, we will be back to normal (and likely-now more appreciated🤩) activities & routines soon. 🙏
