The Zen Room-Jeanea Tedder

🚨 NEW BOOKING POLICY AT THE ZEN ROOM 🚨

Y’all, I’m just sitting here laughing this morning because some of the things people do are absolutely WILD! 😂🤦‍♀️

Sooooooo…we’re making a few changes!

🌿 NO MORE CARD REQUIRED TO BOOK! 🌿

I have removed the card-on-file requirement because I felt like it might be keeping some people from booking. So if you’ve been wanting an appointment but didn’t want to put your card on file, that requirement is GONE! ❤️

BUTTTTT…there’s a flip side to that. 😂

👉 REPEATED CANCELLATIONS: If you continuously cancel appointments, you WILL be required to pay a deposit before booking with me again.

👉 NO-SHOWS: If you simply don’t show up and make no effort to communicate, you will no longer be allowed to book at The Zen Room.

👉 LAST-MINUTE CANCELLATIONS: Please understand that canceling a 4-hour appointment at the last minute isn’t something I can just magically fill. That’s four hours of my workday and income gone.

And before anybody takes this and runs with it…PLEASE understand that I know LIFE HAPPENS! ❤️ People oversleep, emergencies happen, kids get sick, and unexpected things come up. I am a very understanding person, and I always try to give grace where it’s deserved.

I’m talking about the repeated, blatant disregard for my time and the fact that THIS IS MY JOB.

I’ve also started utilizing the block list on my booking app to help protect my time, my business, and honestly, my sanity. 😂

I’m one person running a business, and I’m trying to prevent burnout while still loving what I do.

Now, to my AMAZING clients who consistently show up, support me, respect my time, and sit in my chair…YOU are the reason I get to keep doing what I love. 🥹❤️

From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU. I truly wouldn’t make it without y’all.

I’m not trying to make booking harder. I’m actually trying to make it EASIER for the people who genuinely want to be here while protecting the little business I’ve worked so hard to build.

A little respect, a little communication, and a whole lot of grace go a long way. 🌿

Much love,
Jeanea | The Zen Room ❤️
