A lot of our clients can bleach and direct dye their own hair. How do we add value to a vivid service? How do we make vivids look different and expensive?? I used a full highlight/balayage/teasylight combo with BB bleach 9 with 5 vol

Base color is EOC 6.66+20 vol

Normally I put the finished results first and then prompt to swipe left for the before. This processing pic was just too damn pretty though!
After having a love affair with teasy-light/BALAYGE combos, I went back to doing an entire head of free hand surface painting and end saturation.

⭐ BB Bleach free style-
I mix 20g at a time with 1:1 10, 20, 30 vol consecutively. I also add 5g of the Hair supporter Bond Rebuilder. Not because the bleaches need it, there is plenty already in the bleaches. I add the bond rebuilder because I like the texture it makes the bleach. Clays tend to get thick and pasty when mixed correctly to ensure that it created that hard shell that keeps the product moist and doesn't prevent transfer.

Another fun tip! Work side to side and allow each section to dry a little before dropping the next section of hair on top. I'm too lazy for cotton, and sometimes saran and foils move the product where you don't want it, this creating spots or inconsistency.

⭐Toned with 30g 10UV 10g 10.31 80g 5 vol.

As you can see she was a level six base....and guess what that is on mids and ends??? SPLAT!!!😱 No one else would touch her hair professionally and with good reason ☝️🤓 If it doesn't cause a chemical reaction, it is impossible to lift out completely. However, I know from experience (and a test strand) that I can lift her natural hair and let the pink/orange direct dye residue work towards my end goal.

⭐Teasy- light end saturation with BB Bleach Easy Lift 7 1:2 with 10 vol. Mix in small batches as you go.

⭐After rinsing, I shampood (lightly, not a scalp scrub) with APM SDL Reconstructive shampoo. Then I treated with Scalp and Fibre Restore Before rinsing and drying.

⭐On COMPLETELY dry hair formula is as follows
- Roots/base about 2 1/2 inches down.
EOC 15g 6.66 + 15g 5.22 + 45g 20vol w/ 4 pumps
UV Pigments.
-Mid/Ends EOC 40g 6.66 + 60g 20 vol w/ 4 pumps
Red Pigments and 2 pumps UV pigments.
-Situation ends and pieces I used Colorwear 7UV
1:1 with 10vol. Some areas needed some purple
punch to cancel out areas that actually lifted yellow
instead of the Pink/orange from the splat.
- I made sure the last applied red was on for 35
minutes.

Here are is another one of my favorite colors I did in the last year. Nothing sums up doing hair in 2020 like hairs pics with surgical masks.
