Simple beauty begins with clean, healthy skin and that's what Lora's Beauty is about. The artistic, calming nature of blending natural ingredients together to produce something so basic yet so useful and beautiful is what draws to me to the creative soap making process. More than a decade ago, I made my first batch of soap and was hooked. Many batches later I began to understand the chemistry inv
olved in creating a bar of soap. From there, I began to branch out and try new ingredients and designs. I take a lot of inspiration from viewing other soap maker's work and am active in the soap maker's community. I truly believe handmade soap is far better for your skin, your health, and the environment than any detergent bar you can pick up at the grocery store. Living in the Pacific Northwest my whole life I grew up with sustainability in mind. I source all my ingredients from local companies and buy organic. My products do not contain palm oil and my packaging is recyclable or reused. I take great pleasure in offering plastic free products that replace everyday purchases like solid dish soap, shampoo, and conditioner bars.
