even a rare Asian bird lost on migration knows the Columbia River is the place to be. 👀🔥
if you haven’t heard:
a blue rock thrush native to Asia was spotted right here on the Columbia River in North Portland today and it is only the third known regional sighting ever. birders and conservationists are already flocking to the area and honestly we are so here for the buzz.
if you’re coming down to catch a glimpse, you know where to find us. warm sauna, cold river, and maybe the rarest bird in Portland right outside the window. 🐦🌊
