Oregano is one of those oils that earns its place in the fall and winter wellness cabinet.
Steam distilled from the leaves of Origanum vulgare, Oregano has a strong, warm, herbaceous aroma and is naturally rich in compounds such as carvacrol. It’s an incredibly concentrated oil, so a little goes a very long way.

For seasonal support, add 1-2 drops of Oregano essential oil to a veggie capsule, fill the remainder with olive oil, and take as needed when you begin feeling unwell.

And don’t forget that Oregano can be used in the kitchen too! One drop, or even just a toothpick amount can add wonderful flavor to savory recipes.

Topical tip: Oregano is considered a “hot” oil and can be irritating to the skin, so always dilute it well with a carrier oil before applying topically.

A little DIY hand spray is one of those things that’s easy to keep everywhere - your purse, car, desk, or by the front door.

For a 2 oz spray bottle:
2-3 tbsp High-proof ethanol (such as 190-proof grain alcohol - don’t use rubbing alcohol)
2 tsp aloe vera gel
4 drops vitamin E oil
10-12 drops essential oils of choice (Examples: On Guard, Thyme, Tea Tree, Eucalyptus, Cinnamon, Rosemary…)

Add all ingredients to the bottle, secure the spray top, and shake well until combined. Shake gently before each use.
