As we continue sharing the history of Sam and Bill’s Hair Design, we want to spotlight our fearless leaders—Sandy and Greg Brown. This dynamic duo is truly one you’re lucky to know ✨

Sandy began her career here 35 years ago as an incredible stylist. She and Greg took over ownership in 2003. Now she continues to deliver the stunning haircuts and beautiful color she’s known for—results you truly can’t get anywhere else.

Greg came from the corporate world and later became licensed in cosmetology. Today, he keeps all the behind-the-scenes ins and outs of the business running smoothly while also being one of our talented barbers.

We are so grateful for their leadership, passion, and the heart they pour into Sam & Bill’s every single day 🤍

As we step into 2026, we wanted to take a moment to look back at the very beginning of Sam & Bill’s Hair Design 🤍
None of this would have been possible without our founders, Sammy Giddens and Billy Turner.

Founded in 1961, Sam & Bill’s originally called 1902 Hillsborough Street home, where they grew the foundation of what we are today. That journey led to our current location at 109 Oberlin Road, where we’ve proudly been for over 50 years and counting.

This month, we’ll be taking you through our history—from where it all began to where we are now.
