We celebrate people’s victories, but we rarely see the years of sacrifice, uncertainty, and preparation that came before them.

I’ve lived those seasons.

There were times when business slowed down.
Times when opportunities didn’t come as quickly as I prayed they would.
Times when I questioned myself.
Times when I wondered what God was doing.

But looking back, I realize God wasn’t delaying me…

He was developing me.

One of the greatest lessons I’ve ever learned is this:

God will often use preparation seasons that don’t look like promotion seasons.

While you’re waiting, something is still happening.

Your character is growing.
Your discipline is growing.
Your wisdom is growing.
Your faith is growing.

Roots grow before fruit appears.

So if you’re in a difficult season today, don’t mistake preparation for failure.

The very season that feels hidden may be the one that’s preparing you for everything you’ve been praying for.

I’m truly humbled and grateful.

Today I received an incredible honor from the RISE Tour, produced and hosted by Dr. Shavannah Johnson, and I’m honestly still taking it all in.

As I held this award in my hands, I wasn’t thinking about the recognition. I was thinking about the journey.

The struggles.
The sacrifices.
The setbacks.
The moments when quitting would have been easier.
The prayers.
The people who believed in me.
And the faithfulness of God every step of the way.

This award represents more than what I’ve accomplished. It represents what is possible when purpose, perseverance, and faith come together.

Thank you to Dr. Shavannah Johnson, the RISE Tour family, my wife, my family, my clients, my students, my supporters, and every person who has been part of this journey.

The mission continues.
