The past few days reminded me just how many different ways tea can bring people together.
🧘🏽♀️ A yoga studio celebrating 13 years of wellness.
🤎 A community day bringing people together in downtown Raleigh.
🌱 A yoga retreat centered around wellness, giving, and connection.
🥕 A Sunday at the Black Farmers Market in Durham.
🚶🏽♀️ And an evening walk through Dix Park with Girls Who Walk Raleigh + Raleigh Walking Girlies.
Different spaces. Different people. Different experiences.
But the same thread kept showing up:
Connection.
This is what I’m building with Angelica Wellness Shop.
Not simply tea sitting on a table.
Tea as a reason to pause.
Tea as a way to gather.
Tea as part of an experience.
I’m incredibly grateful for every organization, event host, market, community, and person who has invited Angelica Wellness Shop into their space.
Every conversation, every tasting, every cup, and every introduction is helping me build something bigger than a tea business.
I’m building a brand rooted in wellness, community, and intentional experiences. 🌿

On Saturday, October 10, I’ll welcome just 40 Founding Guests to Lake Johnson Park in Raleigh for an intimate autumn afternoon created around tea, beauty, music, connection, and intention.
This isn’t simply a tea tasting.
It’s an experience designed to invite you to slow down.

🌸 Explore seasonal botanicals
🎻 Enjoy live violin
🥐 Savor seasonal pairings & hors d’oeuvres

And there will be opportunities to create your own bouquet and explore permanent jewelry along the way.
I created the Angelica Tea Garden for the person who needs an afternoon away from the pace of everyday life.
For the friend you’ve been meaning to spend more time with.
For the person who wants to experience something beautiful without rushing through it.
And for anyone who believes something as simple as tea can become a meaningful ritual.

Earlier this week, tea made a little stop at Dix Park. 🌿🍵
I was so happy to be invited by Girls Who Walk Raleigh + Raleigh Walking Girlies to be part of their evening as they explored the Trolls at Dix Park.
Along the way, the group stopped by for a little tea tasting before heading back out to continue their walk.
There’s something I really love about moments like this.
Tea doesn’t always have to be the destination.
Sometimes it can simply be the pause in the middle of a beautiful experience… a chance to gather, taste something new, connect with one another, and then keep going.

A little milestone worth celebrating.
Sunday at the Black Farmers Market in Durham was my highest-grossing market day to date—and I am incredibly grateful.
The support was amazing.
Every person who stopped by my table, asked about the teas, made a purchase, brought someone over, shared my business with a friend, or simply encouraged me—thank you.
It means more than you know.

Some communities are built around what we receive. Others are built around what we give.
This weekend, I had the opportunity to be part of The Gathering Yoga Retreat, and what stayed with me wasn’t just the yoga.
It was the spirit of the entire experience.
🌿 Movement and stillness.
🥕 A Giving Harvest.
📚 A community book exchange.
🍵 Tea and conversation.
🤎 People coming together to share what they have.
I loved seeing vegetables placed on a table for people to give and receive. I loved seeing books exchanged so stories could continue from one person to another.
These are simple things, but they reminded me of something I believe deeply:
Wellness isn’t only about what we do for ourselves. It’s also about how we show up for one another.
I’m grateful that Angelica Wellness Shop could be part of such a beautiful gathering.
And honestly, experiences like this are part of why I’m creating the Angelica Tea Garden.
I want to create spaces where people can slow down, connect, experience something beautiful, and leave feeling a little lighter than when they arrived.
