Eating my way through Hawaii 🌺🍍 and sharing every spot that was actually worth it.
We had some of the best food of our lives on this trip, but I also packed a few simple wellness staples that help me feel my best while traveling. One of them has been Just Thrive Digestive Bitters, which I’ve been taking before meals as part of my routine. I love that it’s an easy way to support my body’s natural digestion and appetite signaling pathways, especially when I’m eating differently than I do at home.

One of the reasons I love including fish during the first year is because it’s one of the best sources of nutrients babies need for growth and development.
This Seremoni Grade Black Cod is packed with high quality protein, healthy fats, vitamin D, selenium, B vitamins, and omega 3s including DHA, which plays an important role in brain and eye development during infancy.
What also sets Seremoni apart is their commitment to quality. They work directly with American fishermen and use a humane Japanese harvesting method designed to preserve freshness, flavor, and quality from ocean to table.
And if you’ve ever struggled to get your baby to eat fish, black cod is a great place to start. Its buttery, velvety texture flakes apart effortlessly, making it one of the softest and easiest fish for little ones to self feed.
I always try to prioritize nutrient dense foods during the first year because babies have incredibly high nutrient needs relative to their size, and seafood can be a great way to help meet those needs.
Comment FISH and I’ll send you this easy recipe that your whole family will love. 🤍
Starting solids feels overwhelming because everyone tells you what to feed… but almost no one explains what babies actually NEED.
Around 6 months, babies’ nutritional needs shift and certain nutrients become much more important, especially iron, zinc, choline, healthy fats, and key minerals.
Not all first foods support those needs equally, and understanding that changed everything for me.
That’s exactly why I created my ebook. The guide I wish I had as a first-time mom.
Inside, I break down what babies actually need, nutrient-dense first foods, recipes, age-based feeding schedules, allergy guidance, jaw and oral development, sleep support, and the exact products I use and love.

I surprised all the cousins on our trip w grass skirts and I think this is the cutest memory ever 🥹🌺 - Jax’s new obsession, he’ll find a way to wear a costume no matter where we are 😆
Spent the morning exploring the new Nordstrom Rack in Encinitas and found so many good deals. Have you been yet? ✨
The 1st thing we do the moment I notice the first signs of a cold.
We’ve been doing this since Jax was around 6 months old, and now it’s one of the first things I reach for when the kids start getting congested.
Saline helps loosen and thin mucus so it’s easier to clear from the nose. When little ones can’t breathe well through their nose, that mucus can drip down the back of the throat, contribute to coughing, make sleep harder, and sometimes lead to more congestion hanging around longer.
Of course, a saline rinse can’t prevent every illness or complication, but helping keep the nasal passages clear may reduce post nasal drip, improve breathing, support better sleep, and help your child feel more comfortable when they’re sick.
It’s simple, inexpensive, and one of those things I wish more parents knew about.
Save this for cold season and send it to a parent who always seems to have a congested little one 🤍
Your baby could be eating iron rich foods every day, but the right food pairing can help them absorb even more of that iron. 👀
That’s why I love pairing raspberries with tahini in this puree.
Tahini contains iron, while raspberries provide vitamin C. When served together, vitamin C helps your baby’s body absorb more of the iron from the tahini.
And this matters because babies have incredibly high iron needs during the first year. Between 7 and 12 months, babies need more iron than an adult man to support rapid growth and brain development.
Iron plays a critical role in learning, memory, energy production, oxygen transport, and healthy development during one of the fastest periods of growth in your child’s life.
Small nutrition shifts like this can make a big difference over time.
Save this for later because nutrient pairing is one of the easiest ways to get more nutrition into every bite. 🤍
Comment RECIPE and I’ll send you this raspberry flax tahini puree plus my Baby’s First Foods Guide with 90+ pages of feeding education, feeding schedules, allergy introductions, oral development support, and 40+ nutrient dense recipes designed to support your baby’s growth and development.
