For years, we were always told to put dry shampoo on already dirty hair, then our hair still feels dirty and weighed down. One day I heard someone say put dry shampoo on clean hair and I thought "mhmm wtf?" Then I got to thinking that makes so much sense.
Putting dry shampoo on clean hair actually benefits you so much more if you break it down. So if your hair is already clean, your not sweaty yet, you put dry shampoo in then go outside and get sweaty. The dry shampoo is soaking up the sweat and oils right away instead of making your hair greasy.
Finding the right dry shampoo also is going to be a big lifesaver. Some brands plainly are too heavy, some brands don''t work as well as others. It will be some trial and error to find the right one your hair likes, just like when you listen to your body.

When I was learning, a very common mistake I made was thinking water was a barrier when washing hair. In reality, leaving the water in helps a lot. Emulsifying shampoo or any products heats them up, allowing them to lather better and cleanse more effectively. If you feel like your hair isnāt getting clean enough, it might be because the first shampoo only removed surface debris, not the dirt on your scalp. On the other hand, if your hair feels too dry, you might be shampooing too often and need to let your natural oils work their magic.

I will say there are some perks to having a salon in your front yard š. One main perk being how close and person we are during our appointments. Its just you, me and my dog Holley.
One thing about having a salon trailer is sometimes I do have to go refill the water tank, or turn on the propane for the water heater cause Im not trying to waste propane.

This transformation was so much fun! I don't do a lot of fashion/vivid colors anymore so when I get the chance, I get super excited lol. I might even put some color back in my hair š.
Fashion colors like this do fade semi fast because it's a direct dye, there's no developer. It sits right on top of the cuticle. So you will see it rub onto your pillow, it will run in the shower. Its normal. Cold water helps keep it in a little longer because it doesn't open the hair shaft and of course products being used. Heat makes everything fade faster.
