I know this is going to hurt but braids are NOT a protective style. Between the chemicals on the braiding hair and the overuse of braid gel that clogs your pores it's a disaster waiting to happen. The gel suffocates your scalp and synthetic hair cuts through your natural hair strands.
Setting hair with pin curls allows it to cool and mold in a curly shape. This helps styles last much longer. Curls often last up to 3-7 days with proper nighttime care.
Please stop trying every hair product that comes out! Your hair and scalp require quality products and consistency. (Ignore the loud fan in the background 😊)
