When people see Benford Academy today, they see the crest, the colors, and the programs—but what they may not know is where it truly began.

Back in 2020, in the middle of the pandemic, I saw a need for something more. Something that would prepare our youth not just for the classroom or the field, but for life itself. And at the center of that vision was one very special little boy—Joshua.

He was the inspiration behind it all. I wanted him to have every opportunity to explore his gifts—whether in academics, athletics, or the arts—and to grow into a young man who carried himself with confidence, purpose, and grace. What started with small classes, uniforms, and the very first ideas has now grown into something so much bigger than I could have imagined.

Benford Academy isn’t just a program. It’s been years of prayer, planning, and passion—an ongoing effort since 2020 to leave a legacy, not just for my son, but for every child who walks through our doors.
