Brightened her up, softened the warmth, and brought everything together for a gorgeous, dimensional blonde that still feels natural and blended. 🤍

And because apparently I was too busy admiring her hair to remember my job… 😂 I completely forgot to take the after photo! Thankfully, my sweet guest understood the assignment and sent me one from home. 🙌🏼💕

🩷 October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month 🩷

This month is especially close to my heart.

The beautiful woman in this photo is my mom. 💕 I lost her almost three years ago to metastatic breast cancer, and there isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t miss her.

So this October, I want to use my little corner of the world—and my salon—to remind all of the amazing women who sit in my chair to take care of themselves, too.

🎀 About 1 in 8 women in the United States will develop breast cancer during her lifetime.

🎀 Mammograms can find breast cancer before it is large enough to feel or causes symptoms, which is why staying on top of recommended screening is so important.

Please know your body. Know your family history. Talk with your healthcare provider about when you should be screened. And if you’ve been putting off scheduling that mammogram, consider this your loving reminder to make the appointment. 🩷

And to every person currently fighting breast cancer, every survivor, and every family who has lost someone they love—you are in my heart this month.

✨ Saturday at the salon! ✨

I don’t work every Saturday, but I try to open up at least one a month for all of my favorite guests who need a weekend appointment. 💕

I’ve been here since 7:30 this morning, and before the first guest even sat in my chair, I gave the salon a good clean and made everything sparkle. ✨ There’s just something about a freshly cleaned salon that makes me happy!

A little cleaning, a lot of coffee ☕, and a Saturday spent making beautiful hair. 💇‍♀️💗
