Full disclosure I purchased this salon for $20,000 about 3 years ago and then spent $15-20,000 upgrading it (I can give you info on what’s been updated and purchased, it’s a lot)

I have a long term commitment to school and can no longer work regularly, so I am willing to take a loss to focus on my goal of going to medical school.

Salon has been open ~15 years.

(Family opened it, sold it after 6 years, those owners renovated it and sold it back to us after 6 years, then I renovated it even more)

I highly recommend to be successful being able to do acrylic nail designs, individual lashes, waxing and pedicures.

I would consider training you when possible (though some previous experience would be very helpful)

(A new lease would be signed and duration can be negotiated)

Other bills include RGE, spectrum business phone/internet, and insurance which should be about $500 or less a month additional.

(When I worked there regularly the bills for a month could be paid off in 2 days, sometimes 1)

You may need to promote yourself and build some clientele back up, which I can help you do (since I have not been consistently working full time for a couple of years while I’ve been working on my undergraduate degree)

You can also convert this to a hair salon or perform other services, though one of the biggest cost opening this salon was doing the plumbing for the pedicure chairs which costed about $10,000 just for the plumbing, not including the chairs. So there’s a lot of value in keeping the salon functioning the way it is, and maybe adding other services as an add on.

*Yes it’s 1000x better than working for an hourly wage, without a doubt. (Unless you’re making $100 an hour, which was pretty normal while I worked at the salon, minus expenses)

Also if you can scale up and have multiple employees, that will help a lot with expenses and more income, so if you have friends and family willing to work for you, PERFECT!

This is a very cheap price considering how much I’ve put into it, so please be reasonable!
