Four years.

Honestly, I don’t even know how to properly put into words what JJ Skincare has become to me — or what all of you have become to me. This little space has grown into something so much bigger than skincare. It’s become community, connection, healing, laughter, vulnerability, safety, and friendship.
Recently while traveling through Japan, I had one of those moments where I realized just how deeply I love what I do. As beautiful and inspiring as the trip was, I truly could not wait to get back into studio with my clients. That feeling alone told me everything I needed to know.
You all are my JJ fam. 🤍
Every appointment booked, every product order placed, every referral, every conversation, every moment of trust you’ve given me over these last four years has helped keep this dream alive. I genuinely would not be here without you, and I will never take that for granted. Thank you for allowing me to do work that I am absolutely obsessed with.

JJ SKINCARE ART INSTILLATION 2026

1- Collect vintage frames + mirrors
2- Lay them out to create design
3- Joshua engineered the spacing + weighting to balance the frames
4- Flipped them over to apply spacers + nail together
5- Have an incredible partner who’s handy
6- Joshua put anchors in the ceiling to hang the frames from
7- We used wire to hang the frames from the anchors, measuring to make sure it was even
8- Wrapped the light cords around the frames and threw Christmas garland up to hide it 🥴
9- Removed Christmas decor, back to the beginning
10- Before hiding the cords
11- After: hid cords behind frames + hot glued in place
12- Added live branches + woven fabric throughout
13- Joshua fought me on the butterflies
14- But I didn’t listen 😝
15- Now the fun begins!

I’ve never been big on the version of Valentine’s Day that tells you you’re only worthy if someone sends flowers or makes a reservation.

But I am big on love. The real kind.
The quiet kind.
The love that shows up for you when you show up for yourself.

It feels like there’s a lot of darkness in the world. So much noise, so much heaviness, so many reasons to feel overwhelmed. And yet… moments like this remind me that there’s still light to be found.

It has been such an honor to care for this beautiful mama during such a meaningful chapter of her life. Pregnancy is powerful, sacred, and deeply humbling — a true reminder of the resilience and magic of the human body.
