Two years ago today, this wasn’t just a door.

It was a door I chose to walk through.

If I’m honest, I was terrified. Not because of opening a business—but because of where I was opening it.

For a long time, I believed I didn’t belong here. I could shop here. I could eat here. I could spend my money here. But somewhere deep down, I didn’t believe I had earned the right to build something here.

That wasn’t this town’s story. It was mine.

It was a mindset rooted in scarcity, in the way I was raised, in believing some places were meant for “other people.” My family did the best they could with what they had, and because of them, I had the opportunity to break those beliefs instead of passing them on.

So I opened the door anyway.

Today, more than 1,366 people have walked through it.

Some came looking for rest. Some came searching for answers. Some came because they were tired of feeling unseen in their journey with hair, skin, stress, or health. Every person reminded me why this place had to exist.

I’m grateful I listened to the quiet voice that kept telling me, This is where you’re supposed to be.

For such a time as this.

Sometimes the biggest door we open isn’t the one in front of us—it’s the one inside of us.

And I’ll never stop being grateful that I chose to walk through mine. 🤍

“ Ain’t nothing they can do to stop my shine”

and the reason is simple… My shine was never mind to begin with.

You can make decisions behind my back. You can have conversation conversations I’ll never hear. You can try to change the narrative, create obstacles, or throw things in my path.

But God was in every room I wasn’t in.
He heard every conversation I didn’t.
He saw every intention I couldn’t see.

And I am divinely protected

I don’t have to fight every battle. I don’t have to defend every moment. I don’t have to chase clarity from people who choose confusion.

Because when God has a plan for your life, no person, no situation, and no setback and cancel it.

Some things are removed because they were never meant to go where you’re going.

So I’ll keep showing up. I’ll keep building. I’ll keep loving. I’ll keep walking in purpose.
what God has for me will always be greater than anything someone tries to take away or dull.

and if you ever decide to bet on me… Just know you’re not really betting on me.

Your bedding on the God who never lies.
The God who never fails.
The God, who has never once let me down – and never will.

After over two decades in this industry, I’ve watched this happen so many times…

We see the marketing.
We go to the store.
We smell the product.
We read the claims.
We buy the product.
We try the product.
We try the trend.

And when it doesn’t give us the results we hoped for, we decide…

“It doesn’t work.”

And sometimes, yes, there are products that just aren’t great.

But more often than not, the problem isn’t the product.

The problem is that your hair or your scalp didn’t need what was inside that bottle.

Because your hair has its own needs.

Hydration and moisture are not the same thing.
Different ingredients create different results.
What transforms one person’s hair may do nothing for another person.

And that’s why you don’t need to spend hours researching ingredients, comparing bottles, or trying to become an expert in hair science.

That is not your job.

That’s my job.

My job is to understand your hair, look at what it’s telling us, and help guide you toward what actually makes sense for YOU.

This is also why I became so passionate about learning beyond what I was originally taught.

Because I realized there was so much more to understand.

And to my fellow professionals… this is where we have an opportunity.

Many of us were not taught the depth of hair science that allows us to truly understand why hair behaves the way it does. But we can learn. We can continue growing. We can become the professionals our clients are looking for.

Because people don’t just need another product recommendation.

They need someone who understands the why behind the recommendation.

Hair is not just hair.

It’s science, biology, environment, and a story waiting to be understood. ✨
