Our hearts will always have a soft spot for Savastano's Bakery and Pizzeria and their amazing pizzas.

Back around 2002, my mom started looking for a place to open her own salon. She ended up meeting George, who had a spot available in his plaza. She knew in that moment she had found the sweetest landlord and the perfect salon she could call home.

That became the original location where it all began for Salon Ferrara.

We say all the time that we’d still be there if we hadn’t outgrown the space, because there truly are no better people than George and his family. We were proud to have our sign right next to theirs.

We will also always remember sweet Helen, who became not only one of my mom’s cherished clients, but truly a dear friend (and the best cannoli filler around) right up until she passed away.

To this day, for special luncheons or holiday get-togethers at the salon, I like to bring in a tray of mini pizzas to remind us where we started. It’s one of those nostalgic traditions that always warms our hearts.

We love you, Savastano’s. Congratulations on your growing following, and we’re wishing you continued success for many years to come.

Just a heads up this week as the salon refreshing continues🥹.
I’ve tried so hard to do things in phases and stages with minimal business interruption.
BUT🫣😌…
The flooring phase is a little more involved, as our entire space needs to get completely emptied out.
So this is the weekend we are making this happen. We will be preparing and packing up things all this week.
And although our place may seem a little disheveled for a few days the focus will still be on all our scheduled clients this week💛
