Most Barbers were drafted during WWII. 🇺🇸💈

Standard-issue styles like the flat top, buzz cut, and crew cut were the norm, in order to avoid lice and prevent their hair from getting caught in machinery.

Often times relying only on a razor, a comb, and a steady hand, barbers used their skills to leverage survival, trading haircuts and shaves for food 😅.
